Finland is on the road..
Having looked at the roads of this or that district, it is surely possible to make conclusions about the work of the state, republican and local bodies. Passing the border, you will see difference in roads and you will understand, that the thing is not something connected with the impassability of roads and not that there are bogs or any other features of district, but the matter is how they build roads as they should be and how they support and think of transport owners and pedestrians, and the thing here is in the state approach to these road problems and responsibility.
In Finland roads are in good condition both in the spring when snow thaws, and in winter when brings their snow, there are no failures, huge spaces are in the middle of the road, when the car takes down or rams from below. There are no open hatches, there are no dangerous roadsides, there is all no that increases breakdown susceptibility on roads and creates intolerable conditions for drivers and their cars. Harvesters work constantly, clearing roads after snowfalls, in a high water, during thaw. Road coverings are always pure, and roads are constructed taking into account all features of district carefully and every little problem is thought over thouroughly.

It is not a secret that depending on intensity of movement increases also the risk of road and transport accidents, therefore signs on Finnish roads play a huge role, considering both the road, the speed of movement, and the season.
In Finland there are two-way roads, four-strip, highways. Regulation of intensity of movement can lead to reduction of the risk— here there exists a direct interdependence. It concerns also movements in large places of movement of a transport stream, both jams, and traffic jams.
Building and repairing of roads in Finland — that’s another matter. At first, as usual, comes the project, then the division of functions: the managing director,who is the customer, – he defines problems, the budget of the executor and the supplier of the necessary material, he carries out functions of the coordinator as well. And still there is a group which supervises quality of works and distribution of materials and means.

Technology of building is based on a long term certain standards which yield good results. In Finland the construction of roads isn’t more expensively, than in other countries, but the quality of roads, to put it mildly, is really remarkable.
Speaking about money which are spent for building of roads in Finland here they miscalculate on a certain stage, at first taking into account the minimum expenses to keep within the given sum, having increased it only as required. Purchase of materials is conducted in such a manner that there is constantly a possibility to change the supplier if cheaper material for building is offered.
Well organized system of building and repairing of roads deprives people of the possibility to abuse, and at the same time a well adjusted monitoring system leads to the quality of road construction which exists in Finland.
For repairing of roads which is spent in such a manner that neither motorists, nor other kinds of vehicles suffer from it, summer evening and night time is used.
