Helsinki is a desired place for all shopping enthusiasts as in the city of Helsinki you can find an infinite number of different shopping centers.
Most of them can be found on the main streets of the capital – Mannerheimintie (Mannerheimintie), Kaysaniemenkatu (Kaisaniemenkatu), Esplanadi (Esplanadi), Aleksanterinkatu (Aleksanterinkatu) and many others. The most famous shopping center among tourists are the world famous Stockmann shopping centers. This is the biggest shopping center chain of the capital – here, under one roof more than three hundred different stores are situated and apart from this, there are many cafes, restaurants and playgrounds so you are sure to have fun to the full.

Finland itself has seven departments of Stockmann stores. Four of them are concentrated in the metropolitan area – in central and eastern parts of Helsinki and in the suburbs of Tampere, Espoo and Vantaa. Another of Stockmann’s department stores are located in the cities of Turku and Oulu. Stockmann takes the first place not only in Finland or throughout Scandinavia it enjoys a worldwide reputation.

Central store Stockmann is a seven-story block in the heart of the Finnish capital between the streets Mannerheimintie (Mannerheimintie, Prospect Mannerheim), Aleksanterinkatu (Aleksanterinkatu, st. Alexandra), Keskuskatu (Keskuskatu, st. Central) and Pohoysesplanadi (Pohjoisesplanadi, North Esplanade).
Here you can find absolutely everything: clothes and shoes of all brands, also household goods, cosmetics, sporting goods and foodstuffs.
Do not hesitate to visit Stockmann once you are in Finland!
