Finland Attractions
First of all, Finland is mostly famous for its rivers and lakes, which make it a true center of boating and fishing in Europe, as well as its carefully protected nature, wonderful wildlife and excellent opportunities for winter sports.

During the summer, magnificent shores of the Baltic Sea and thousands of lakes provide good opportunities for swimming, hiking, cycling and hunting. Finland attracts hundreds of tourists every year and has a lot to offer.
Helsinki, the capital city of Finland founded in 1550 is situated on the shore of the Gulf of Finland and therefore it has the status of a “port city”. Helsinki is also famous for its fresh air and beautiful scenery combined with exciting “northern” architecture. The most famous architectural ensemble of the Finnish capital is a complex of buildings in the Empire style in the Senate Square: the Cathedral, the State Council, the University, etc. Not too far from the Senate Square you will find the Market Square the most vivid and vibrant place in Helsinki, the Presidential Palace, City Hall, Esplanadna Park (Espa) and the symbol of the city – a fountain with a bronze sculpture “Havis Amanda “(1908).

Turku is one of the most interesting cities in Finland. Here all you can visit Biology Museum, the Maritime Museum and Observatory on the hill Vartiovuori. Many museums and exhibition halls in Turku represent to its visitors a fascinating exhibition. Here you can also visit Vaino Aaltonen Museum, Museum of Sibelius , medieval Turku Castle, the Museum of Art, etc.
Lahti is one of the main attractions of Finland. The most prominent places here are the Church of Lahti “Ristinkirkko” , Big City Library, the Historical Museum, Skiing museum , Museum of Fine Arts, church Launeen Kirkko “, the Orthodox Church. Of particular interest for tourists are Sculpture Park Lana the largest in Finland and the Musical fountain.

Oulu is known as a city of museums and art galleries. Almost in the center of the city within a few minutes’ walk the Art Museum, an open air museum on the island of Turkansaari, Geological and Zoological museum, the Museum of electricity are located.
There are about 20 museums in Tampere. At the Art Museum of Sarah Hilden a collection of Finnish and foreign contemporary art is exhibited, Famous Lenin Museum and the unique museum of puppets and costumes are also in Tampere.
